Who We Are
Mission
Our mission is to champion California’s oil and gas industry, recognizing its century-long role as a cornerstone of the state’s economy, providing steady employment opportunities, and contributing to the prosperity of communities across the Central Valley.
As a coalition, we advocate for local oil production, energy initiatives, and the development of carbon capture and storage projects to leverage our region’s favorable conditions.
Vision
Our vision is to ensure the continued economic resilience and vitality of the Central Valley through support for the oil and gas industry. We aim to highlight its significant economic impact, with over 24,000 direct jobs in Kern County alone and thousands more indirect jobs, strengthening our local economy.
Additionally, we strive to promote the industry’s remarkable resilience, operating safely and efficiently despite challenges such as stringent regulations and seismic activity, and to underscore the integral role its products play in fueling transportation, powering homes and businesses, and supporting various industries, enhancing the quality of life in California.
